You Can Do Dentistry Anywhere!
Thank you for your interest in the Christian Dental Society
and the possibility of using your talents in the missionary
field. Dentists are equipment dependent. Either plan to take
your favorite instruments or prepare to be flexible. Existing
clinics generally have basic equipment and supplies available
so that only your specific instrument needs require attention.
The Christian Dental Society does make available this portable
equipment on a first come, first serve basis to current CDS
members of at least Active Members Status (minimum of $195.00
annual dues). All equipment loans must be approved by the
Home Office and the equipment must accompany the CDS member
to and from the mission site. It is a requirement that all
members planning to go on mission trips need to fill out a
CDS Mission Application, sign the equipment loan policy and
return with the appropriate equipment rental and deposit fees.
The CDS member is responsible for the safe return of ALL
equipment and instruments loaned within two weeks of returning
from a mission. As CDS often has a short turn around time
between projects, a late fee of $20.00 per day for each day
past due will be deducted from the refundable deposit. The
cost of shipping and appropriate repairs and clean up will
be deducted from the deposit, if applicable.
